About Alpa Parikh, MS in Pharmaceutical Sciences:

Alpa Parikh is Senior Vice President, CMC & Supply Management at Lumos Pharma. Ms. Parikh has over 30 years of experience in branded drug pharmaceutical development, from preclinical through commercialization of a new molecule. In her current role, she manages drug substance-drug product development, manufacturing, and the clinical supply chain for our lead drug candidate. Prior to Lumos Pharma, Ms. Parikh held several positions of increasing responsibility at NewLink Genetics and Cephalon/ Teva Branded Pharmaceuticals where she was responsible for several small molecule and biologics development programs from candidate selection through pre-formulation to technology transfer, commercialization, and life cycle management. Ms. Parikh has extensive experience in process development, pharmaceutical operations, and regulatory documentation for small molecule and biologics with specialized experience in oral and parenteral products.

Ms. Parikh received a Bachelor of Pharmacy and M.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Mumbai University, India.  She holds several patents and has authored multiple publications in the area of drug development.
