About Aleksandra K. Bruchey, PhD:
Dr. Bruchey is an academically trained neuroscientist with over 25 years of expertise in development of biopharmaceuticals and devices in the areas of neurology, metabolic diseases, psychiatry, rare diseases, and endocrinology among others, with leadership roles in all facets of therapeutic candidate development from pre-clinical to Phase IV trials. Dr. Bruchey also has broad regulatory experience having interactions with EMA, the FDA and numerous other national health agencies. Dr. Bruchey holds a role of Vice President, Clinical Operations for Lumos Pharma, Inc., where she is responsible for clinical development program of a growth hormone secretagogue for treatment of pediatric growth hormone deficiency. Earlier in her career, Dr. Bruchey held positions in academia and contract research organizations where she was responsible for development of several compounds, some of which have been approved and are currently used in clinical practice. She has 17 peer-reviewed publications and has presented her clinical research findings at numerous international conferences.
Dr. Bruchey attended Vanderbilt University and received her graduate degree and completed her postdoctoral training at the University of Texas, Austin.
